Fresh Lumpia

4 March 2011

I got this very yummy recipe from my sister-in-law and my husband and I both love it!

For the wrapper, you will need:

3 Eggs
Dash of salt
1 ½ cup water
1 cup cornstarch

For the sauce, you will need:

Minced garlic
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
4 cups water
5 tbsp cornstarch

For the stuffins, you will need:

Ground Pork
Togue
Carrots
Singkamas
Cabbage or Lettuce
Peanuts

Steps:
1. For the wrapper, just mix all the ingredients and heat 1/4 cup separately in a non-stick pan until all is consumed.  Makes 8-10 wrappers.
2. For the sauce, also mix all the ingredients in a separate pan and boil until thick.
3. For the stuffins, saute in a separate pan with vegetable oil, minced garlic & onions. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Wrap the stuffins in your lumpia wrapper, add the sauce and sprinkle with crashed peanuts on top.

Dinner is served.
