Chicken Cordon Bleu

25 March 2011 What you will need for the chicken cordon bleu: Chicken breast, thin sliced Sweet ham Cheese Bread Crumbs Eggs (with pinch of salt) Flour What you will need for the creamy sauce: 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour 1 cup of milk 1/4 cup grated cheese How to do it: 1. Place sweet ham and cheese on top of chicken breast, roll and secure with toothpicks on both ends. 2. Deep it in flour, then in eggs, and in bread crumbs. Make sure it is finely breaded. 3. Deep fry it until golden brown. Remove toothpicks. 4. Cut one roll into several circles and serve. 5. To make the sauce, heat butter, add the milk and wait to boil. Add the flour and grated cheese and stir until thick. Dinner is served.

Deviled Eggs

18 March 2011 This is not really a dinner recipe but since we already had dinner tonight outside, I decided to make these funny-looking eggs for our night snacks, which I found in one of the cookbooks in the house. What you'll need: Hard boiled eggs Mayonnaise Salt & white pepper Grated cheese How to do it: 1. Boil eggs 2. Cut in half lengthwise. Make sure the egg white is even. Then take out the yellow part of the egg. 3. Mash the yellow part with mayonnaise, salt & white pepper. 4. Put back the mixture in the egg white and serve .

Fish Fillet with Tartar Sauce

11 March 2011 My husband and I attended a wedding reception recently and we tasted this very delicious Fish Fillet. I researched the how-to's and here it goes: For the fish fillet, you will need:   Fish Fillet, cut in cubes Eggs (with pinch of salt) Cornstarch Bread Crumbs For the tartar sauce, you will need: 1 cup mayonnaise Sweet Pickle Relish Red & Green Bell Pepper 1/3 cup water 1 tbsp sugar Steps: 1. To make the fish fillet, deep them first in cornstarch, then in eggs and roll in bread crumbs. Make sure the whole fillet is breaded. 2. Deep-fry in heated oil until golden brown. 3. To make the sauce, just mix all the ingredients. Dinner is served.

4 March 2011 I got this very yummy recipe from my sister-in-law and my husband and I both love it! For the wrapper, you will need: 3 Eggs Dash of salt 1 ½ cup water 1 cup cornstarch For the sauce, you will need: Minced garlic 4 tbsp soy sauce 1 cup brown sugar 4 cups water 5 tbsp cornstarch   For the stuffins, you will need: Ground Pork Togue Carrots Singkamas Cabbage or Lettuce Peanuts Steps: 1. For the wrapper, just mix all the ingredients and heat 1/4 cup separately in a non-stick pan until all is consumed.  Makes 8-10 wrappers. 2. For the sauce, also mix all the ingredients in a separate pan and boil until thick. 3. For the stuffins, saute in a separate pan with vegetable oil, minced garlic & onions. Add salt and pepper to taste. 4. Wrap the stuffins in your lumpia wrapper, add the sauce and sprinkle with crashed peanuts on top. Dinner is served.
